Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Technician to join our financial services team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing and maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring seamless processing of financial transactions. Your expertise will help uphold the integrity of our financial data, contributing to the overall success of our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about accounting, bookkeeping, and financial analysis to grow their skills within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently through account analysis and detailed ledger reviews.
Assist with account reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy in financial records and support month-end closing procedures.
Maintain organized records of financial transactions, invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
Collaborate with team members on budgeting tasks and provide detailed reports for management review.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.
Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Basic math skills combined with the ability to analyze accounts effectively for discrepancies or errors.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Prior experience in financial services or related fields is a plus.
