Wage: $25.93 - $29.17 flat rate with earning potential based on productivity and hours flagged, as outlined in the collective agreement.
Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | 40 Hours per Week

What You'll Do
As an Apprentice Auto Body & Collision Technician, you'll work alongside experienced technicians while developing your skills in all aspects of collision repair and refinishing.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect damaged vehicles and assist with collision repair procedures.
- Repair and replace damaged body panels, structural components, and related systems.
- Perform sanding, priming, preparation, and refinishing tasks.
- Assist with vehicle disassembly and reassembly.
- Conduct repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
- Review and complete repair orders accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and apprenticeship development opportunities.
What You Bring
- Completion of 3rd, or 4th Year Apprentice Auto Body & Collision Technician training.
- AEC, DEP, or Skilled Trade Certificate in Auto Body Technology.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driver's abstract.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced technicians.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
- Own tools and equipment appropriate for the trade.
- Steel-toed safety boots.
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal record check.

Physical Requirements
This role requires:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Working with hand and power tools.
- Performing physically demanding tasks in a busy production environment.
Working Conditions
- Fast-paced collision repair environment.
- Exposure to noise, dust, paint products, and shop equipment.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
