Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with dealership repairs and mechanical knowledge is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs
- Perform bodywork repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and refinishing
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to execute repairs effectively
- Prepare vehicles for painting and apply paint finishes with precision
- Conduct mechanical inspections and perform minor mechanical repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards throughout all repair processes
Requirements
- Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Experience in automotive bodywork or collision repair is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanic experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing during repairs
Pay: $20.22-$39.43 per hour
