Corporate Finance Controller
Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Corporate Finance Controller to oversee the financial operations of a dynamic organization. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, payroll oversight, and maintaining strong internal controls across companies.
The successful candidate will lead the accounting team, identify opportunities to improve financial processes, and provide accurate reporting and analysis to support business decisions and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee full-cycle accounting for multiple companies.
Prepare accurate monthly and year-end financial statements.
Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, payroll oversight, and cash flow.
Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for ownership and leadership.
Maintain and improve accounting policies, internal controls, and financial processes.
Lead month-end and year-end close activities.
Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable legislation.
Support business growth through process improvements and financial planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA designation is considered an asset.
Minimum five years of experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting leadership role.
Experience managing accounting for multiple companies or entities.
Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience supporting multiple business entities is considered an asset.
