Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Prior experience in food and beverage service, especially with POS systems like Micros POS, is highly valued. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent time management skills, food safety knowledge, and the ability to handle cash accurately. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where hospitality skills are celebrated and developed.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards.
Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions efficiently.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to food safety standards.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is fully equipped for service.
Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
Assist in food service when required, including serving snacks or light menu items.
Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy hours through strong time management skills.
Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation practices.

Skills

Proven experience in food industry or restaurant settings, with a focus on bartending or serving roles.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cashiering and order processing.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and managing tabs.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Hospitality-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance.
