Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards.
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to food safety standards.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is fully equipped for service.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
- Assist in food service when required, including serving snacks or light menu items.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy hours through strong time management skills.
- Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in food industry or restaurant settings, with a focus on bartending or serving roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cashiering and order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and managing tabs.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
