Centennial Glass has proudly served Ottawa and the Valley for almost 60 years across the retail, residential, and commercial markets. We run a full-service cut shop and fabrication facility in Ottawa and are open six days a week to serve walk-in customers looking for over-the-counter service.
Our cut shop is the nucleus of our business. It's home to a high-speed polisher and state-of-the-art equipment, and we continually invest in the tools that keep us at the top of our field. Two glass technicians work the cut shop, accommodating customer orders and supporting both our residential and commercial teams — cutting and polishing glass and mirror, and backing up our screen repair and replacement business.
We're fully stocked, well organized, and managed by people who know glass, with an established operations and management team that handles scheduling, ordering, and keeping our equipment in top condition.
The role
We're looking for an experienced craftsman to lead our cut shop team. You've worked as a glass cutter, you take pride in your craft, and you're ready to work alongside our secondary glass cutter to keep our standards high while mentoring and training as you go.
We're a flexible shop, so no two days look the same. If you also have an installation skill set and a valid driver's license, you could be tackling a range of work orders — plexiglass cut-outs for AC units, screens, deliveries, receiving and managing stock and orders, and more. Comfortable running a forklift, dropping sheets of glass and mirror, cutting, polishing, and picking up new skills? Even better. It's not a high-stress environment, but it does call for strong communication, a solid grasp of measurement, and the physical fitness to lift and handle glass safely.

Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Occasional Saturday coverage (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) to fill in for your fellow technician or cover vacations. When you work a Saturday, you'll have that Sunday and Monday off.
