Monaco Motorcars is looking for an experienced automotive detailer with strong paint correction skills to join our growing team.

This is not an entry-level detailing position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft and understands how to properly restore and finish high-end vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Complete interior and exterior vehicle detailing
- Machine polishing and paint correction
- Single-stage and multi-stage polishing
- Cutting and buffing
- Wet sanding and defect removal
- Removing scratches, oxidation, swirl marks and paint imperfections
- Proper use of rotary and dual-action polishers
- Clay bar and paint decontamination
- Ceramic coating preparation and application
- Headlight restoration
- Engine bay detailing
- Interior shampooing, extraction and stain removal
- Leather cleaning and conditioning
- Odour removal
- Final inspection and quality control before vehicles are delivered
- Maintain detailing equipment, tools and work area
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a detailing artist, not simply someone who can wash and vacuum a vehicle.
The ideal candidate understands paint, knows how to inspect a finish under proper lighting and has the experience to determine the correct combination of pads, compounds, polishes and techniques required to achieve the desired result.
You should be comfortable working on everything from everyday vehicles to luxury, performance and specialty vehicles.
Requirements
- Previous professional automotive detailing experience is required
- Demonstrated experience with buffing and machine polishing
- Demonstrated experience with paint correction
- Experience wet sanding automotive finishes
- Comfortable using rotary and dual-action polishers
- Strong understanding of compounds, pads, polishes and automotive paint finishes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Valid driver's licence
- Pride in workmanship

We are specifically looking for an experienced detailer who can step into the position and perform professional-level paint correction, polishing and finishing.
If your experience is primarily washing vehicles, vacuuming interiors or basic dealership lot preparation, this position is not the right fit.
We want someone who looks at detailing as a craft and takes genuine pride in producing an exceptional finished vehicle.
Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44.0 per week
