About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused team member to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and is passionate about quality food and beverages.
The successful candidate will be comfortable multitasking, maintaining high standards during busy periods, and working collaboratively with a close-knit team. We're seeking someone interested in long-term employment and growth within our café.
Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a warm, friendly, and welcoming attitude
- Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to café quality standards
- Assist with baking, pastry preparation, sandwich making, and food presentation
- Ensure products are prepared consistently and with attention to detail
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace at all times
- Operate the POS system and process transactions accurately
- Restock ingredients, supplies, retail merchandise, and display cases as needed
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Work efficiently during peak service periods while maintaining quality and customer service standards
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Help create a positive and welcoming environment for customers and coworkers
What We're Looking For
- Previous bakery, café, food service, or barista experience is preferred
- Bakery experience is considered a strong asset
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Availability for a consistent schedule, including weekdays and some weekends
- Interest in long-term employment and growth within the company

Qualifications
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as required
- Must have completed high school and be available to work weekday mornings, afternoons, and weekends as required
