Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and friendly Café All Rounder to join our dynamic team for long term. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee and tea, ensuring quality standards are met
- Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Handle cashiering responsibilities, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment to ensure health and safety compliance
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in café or coffee shop environments preferred
- Barista experience is highly desirable
- Proven ability in serving, cashiering, food preparation, and food handling
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
