WHAT YOU’LL DO…
Our Production team is growing and we’re looking for a Fabricator with better-than-good welding skills, experience in manufacturing and machining, and finesse in fabricating aluminum and stainless-steel products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate welding, cutting, and drilling equipment, including overhead cranes and a robotic welding machine
- Layout and drilling of components to be fabricated
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings to confirm part dimensions
- Monitor the condition of equipment and stock levels to keep the team safe and productive
- Work with Quality Control, Engineering, Safety Committee and Management to continuously improve the product, manufacturing processes and working environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of a post-secondary Fabrication or Welding trade program
- Minimum 3–5 years of fabrication experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience fabricating and TIG welding pipe and plate in aluminum and stainless steel
- Previous experience with CNC machining, Red Seal fabrication and/or Welding level “C” or “B” considered an asset
- Proficient in using tablets for work-related tasks
OTHER INFORMATION:
- This is an onsite position located in Kelowna, BC. (805 Crowley Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y 7G6).
- This position works Monday to Thursday, 10-hour days, afternoon/evening shift.
