Part-Time / Casual Welder-Fabricator (Seasonal)

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Welder-Fabricator to join our team on a part-time, casual, seasonal basis. This position offers flexible hours based on workload and project demands, ranging from approximately 5 to 30 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours during peak seasons.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication of custom metal products and fencing components
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Operate welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials to required specifications
- Assist with shop organization, maintenance, and inventory management
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous welding and fabrication experience required
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
- Experience with MIG welding (other welding certifications considered an asset)
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license considered an asset
- Forklift experience considered an asset
