Fleet & Asset Coordinator
Role Overview

The Fleet & Asset Coordinator plays an important role in ensuring our facilities, fleet and organizational assets are maintained, compliant, and ready to support service delivery across our communities.
Working collaboratively with the Manager, Maintenance & Procurement and the Maintenance Lead Hand, this position coordinates inspections, preventative maintenance, fleet servicing and asset management activities across multiple E3 locations.
Approximately 50% of the role focuses on facilities inspections and compliance-related activities, while the remaining 50% supports fleet coordination, preventative maintenance scheduling, and asset lifecycle management.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate facility inspections, preventative maintenance schedules, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Coordinate fleet servicing, repairs, recalls, seasonal maintenance, and vehicle utilization tracking.
- Maintain accurate inspection, maintenance, fleet, warranty, and asset records.
- Coordinate vendor visits and contractor access to E3 locations.
- Track inspection findings and outstanding corrective actions.
- Assist with long-term fleet and asset replacement planning.
- Prepare reports that support operational planning, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with Health & Safety, Operations, and Maintenance to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support departmental projects and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Building Operations, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three (3) or more years of experience coordinating facilities, fleet operations, preventative maintenance, asset management, or a related field
- Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Fire Code, and general building maintenance practices
- Experience coordinating inspections and preventative maintenance activities
- Experience working in a multi-site environment is considered an asset
- Experience using computerized maintenance management or asset management systems is considered an asset
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR/AED certification
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence with a satisfactory driving record
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check

Working Conditions and Expectations
Work Location: Multiple E3 Community Services locations throughout Simcoe County
Schedule: Full-time
Travel Requirements: Frequent local travel between E3 locations, vendors, and service providers
- Combination of office and field-based work.
- Frequent walking through facilities
- Occasional lifting, bending, climbing stairs, and outdoor work
- Interaction with contractors, vendors, and multiple internal departments
Compensation
The expected annual salary range for this role is $53,248 to $60,611.
Placement within the range will be based on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.
