Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Controller to oversee our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance. This role requires a strong background in accounting software, account reconciliation, and financial analysis to support the company's growth and stability. The Corporate Controller will lead the accounting team and collaborate with executive leadership to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement effective internal controls.

Responsibilities

Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and ensure timely reporting.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms to maintain accurate financial records.
Perform account reconciliation and account analysis to verify data accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including audit preparations.
Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar senior accounting role.
Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other accounting platforms.
Extensive knowledge of accounting principles including GAAP standards.
Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation processes.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed account analysis.
Ability to develop budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial health of our organization through expert management of our accounting functions and strategic financial planning.

Pay: $119,746.37-$126,800.02 per year
