Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a passion for hospitality. Strong communication skills, familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Square POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cashiering responsibilities
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
Assist in setting up tables, refilling supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Support team members as needed to maintain smooth restaurant operations

Experience

Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
Experience with food handling, preparation, or kitchen operations is advantageous
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
Hospitality background or experience working in guest services is beneficial
