Position Details
Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking a Journeyperson Carpenter for work in Fort Saskatchewan, AB:
- Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB
- Schedule Rotation: Monday - Friday, 8-hour days
- Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
- Base hourly rate of $46.38
- Position open July 20, 2026
- Duration - 1 year plus
What You Will Be Working On
- Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of all building single and double man doors.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of all man door hardware and weatherstripping.
- Maintain, repair, replace panic door hardware - nonelectric only.
- Install, repair T-bar ceiling grid and tiles.
- Maintain, repair, replace upper and lower cabinets as well as countertop replacement.
- Repair and replace ceramic tile, vinyl tile, sheet linoleum, tile rug and bulk rug flooring and wall base.
- Wood and steel stud wall framing, drywall installation, tape and paint walls, miscellaneous drywall repairs.
- Install building exterior metal flashing on roof curb and wall penetrations and then caulk.
- General architectural maintenance for all administration and control buildings at the Shell Scotford refinery site.
What We Are Looking For
- Valid Journeyperson Certificate
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
- The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
- Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
- Must have a valid Class 5 drivers license to operate supplied company vehicles onsite.
- Must provide own transportation to site.
