DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

· Operate CNC Mill to tight tolerance

· Measure and check parts for surface roughness and geometric parameter conformance

· Perform set-up using pre-established programs

· Select and change tools as needed

· Enter and check off-sets

· Basic machine maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS

· Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent

· 3 or more years’ experience in either CNC mill operation in a precision machining environment

· Experience working in an ISO certified environment

· Machinist certification is an asset but not required

· Able to obtain Controlled Goods Clearance and clearance under the Industrial Security Program

· Attention to detail

· Demonstrates Team Spirit, Integrity, and Responsibility and Innovation

Consent to and complete a criminal record check
Be eligible for and successfully complete a Controlled Goods Program (CGP) Security Assessment
Be eligible to obtain a Restricted Possession and Acquisition Licence (RPAL) and maintain it after company provided training

In addition, candidates must:

Be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada security clearance under the Contract Security Program (CSP), as required for the role

For certain roles with financial or inventory responsibilities, candidates may also be required to:
