We are seeking a Security Supervisor for a high-profile event in September. This is a temporary opportunity. You MUST have supervisory experience to be considered for this role.
You will have experience with high profile events such as TIFF, concerts, movie premiers etc. You will have a strong communication and the ability to resolve issues that arise quickly and efficiently. You will have a strong supervision background and leadership skills.
Shift: Be available between 3PM-1AM between Sept 10-20, 2026.
Site Locations: Downtown Toronto
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be available on call when the need arises.

Position guards around theatres strategically during movies ensuring excellent coverage.

Cover all posts if a guard books off last minute.

Receive instructions from client and resolve any issues they have.

Be able to understand security protocol for talent.

Monitor traffic flow of checkpoints and recommend staffing adjustments as necessary.

Follow proper procedure for all matters requiring escalation involving members of the public.

Ensure all posts are properly staffed.

Ensure all functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representative.
QUALIFICATIONS:

2-3 years of Event Security Supervisor experience minimum.

Must have excellent communication skills and high level of customer service.

Be able to work in an isolated environment managing security teams.

Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private) to get to Downtown Toronto.

Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

Be able to work mainly in the afternoons and evenings. Availability for any period is strongly preferred.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Post-Secondary education in a related field is an asset.
