Position: | KGH Security Supervisor – Full Time

Hours: | 2 day, 2 night, 12-hour rotation 0800-2000/2000-0800
Payrate: | $29.77/hour
Averaging Agreement: | ON-Averaging Agreement OT over 88
Internal Start Date: July 28, 2026
Internal Closing Date: August 3, 2026
External Closing Date: August 14, 2026
Major Responsibilities
-
Performing patrols
-
Ensuring completion of all shift paperwork
-
Ensuring all work assigned to the shift is completed: patrols, audits, etc
-
Training of new staff
-
Scheduling replacement staff when someone books off at the last minutes or calls in sick
-
Review all paperwork from the shift
-
Ensuring all Incident Reports are completed & review them
-
Key Audits
-
Supervising emergency situations: Fire, Flood, Power Outage

Completing all other assigned tasks
Job Requirements:
-
Valid Ontario Security Guard License
-
Valid Standard First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)

Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test

Valid G license
-
A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, Pertussis and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)

Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Pertussis are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR-V immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position

Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)

Experience with computers at an intermediate level; programs include: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook

Minimum 1 year healthcare security experience preferred
-
Minimum 1 year of security supervisor experience preferred
-
Must be able to commit to full-time availability for no less than 6 months
-
English proficiency (oral & written) is required

Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
-
6+ months of customer service experience is considered an asset
-
Must be able to provide certifications in Stay Safe
-
Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's Stay Safe certification program prior to their onboarding certification to ensure they meet the requirements of the position

Please be aware: The Stay Safe certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all the costs of the certification with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
