We’re looking for a hands-on Brand Manager to help drive our marketing engine across Collective Arts and Botany. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing our brands to life across every consumer touchpoint, from managing the product pipeline and packaging development to leading integrated marketing campaigns, social media, events, PR, and trade marketing.
Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager, Design, Sales, and the Owned Channels team, you will coordinate projects, manage our comms calendar, brief agencies, and create engaging content. You will play a vital role in how our brands show up day-to-day.
Note: This is not a traditional 9-to-5 role. It requires flexibility to support events, content capture, and brand activations, which will occasionally include evenings, weekends, and travel across Southern Ontario.
A typical day as a Brand Manager will include:
Product, Packaging and Agency Management

Managing key workstreams within the product innovation pipeline, working with the Senior Brand Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure timelines and deliverables stay on track.

Managing the packaging development process from brief through execution, coordinating approvals and working closely with the Design and Production teams.

Developing clear, actionable creative briefs for internal teams, external agencies, and creators.

Managing agencies and external partners to ensure work aligns with brand standards, campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Supporting the development of product positioning, messaging, and launch plans for new products.
Campaign & Content Leadership

Leading the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across Collective Arts and Botany, from planning through launch.

Managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, approvals, budgets, and deliverables are met.

Overseeing the master social media and communications content calendar, ensuring activity aligns with broader brand and campaign priorities.

Providing direction on campaign content across social media, photography, short-form video, and supporting assets, while remaining comfortable jumping into execution when needed.

Developing campaign messaging and overseeing copy across social media and brand email campaigns.

Working closely with the Marketing & Communications Coordinator (Owned Channels) to ensure creative assets and messaging are cohesive across all owned platforms.

Reviewing campaign performance and identifying learnings and opportunities to strengthen future activity.
Events, PR & Trade Marketing

Leading brand events, activations, PR initiatives, and partnership opportunities from planning through execution.

Overseeing product samples, marketing materials, and campaign assets to support PR, creators, events, and brand partnerships.

Leading the development of point-of-sale (POS) materials, trade marketing assets, and retail campaigns.

Working closely with the Sales team to develop and execute product launches, promotional initiatives, and campaign programs.

Managing external partners, creators, and agencies involved in events, PR, and partnerships.

Playing an active role in team planning, campaign development, and ongoing marketing initiatives, bringing forward recommendations and opportunities for the brands.

Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager to prioritize key initiatives and ensure strong execution across the marketing calendar.
How your time will be organized:

Brand Campaigns & Project Management (25%): Leading integrated campaigns, managing project timelines and budgets, writing agency briefs, and owning execution from planning to launch.

Social Media & Content (20%): Overseeing the master comms calendar, providing direction on content, and developing campaign messaging across social and email.

Product Pipeline & Packaging (20%): Managing key product lifecycle workstreams, leading packaging development, and supporting innovation and launch planning.

Trade Marketing & Sales Support (20%): Leading POS development, retail campaigns and launches, and delivering campaign toolkits to Sales.

Events, PR & Partnerships (15%): Leading events, activations, PR initiatives, and creator/media partnerships.
We are looking for candidates who have/are

4–5 years in marketing, communications, brand marketing, or a related field. Experience working within a CPG, beverage, retail, or lifestyle brand is a strong asset.

Strong understanding of integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, brand communications, and how brands show up across consumer touchpoints.

Strong understanding of social-first content and experience overseeing content calendars, photography, short-form video, and campaign content.

Excellent copywriting, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to adapt messaging across social media, email, marketing campaigns, and internal stakeholders.

Highly organized and capable of leading multiple projects, deadlines, budgets, and stakeholders simultaneously.

Comfortable leading projects across teams and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, creators, and external partners.

Comfortable working closely with Sales and understanding how brand activity supports product launches, retail programs, and broader business objectives.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance creative thinking, strategic priorities, and strong execution.

Curious, collaborative, and confident taking ownership and bringing forward recommendations. Comfortable working within a small, fast-moving team.

Comfortable working cross-functionally, taking ownership of projects, and remaining hands-on when needed.

Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Comfortable attending key events, activations, launches, and brand moments, including occasional evenings and weekends.
