You’ll work closely with utility electrical engineers, delivery teams and product teams to validate configurations, calibrate models, and translate client requirements into technical solutions. You’ll also mentor junior team members on load flow principles and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Requirements Capture-
Lead technical workshops with distribution system operators and utility stakeholders to understand their grid planning and modeling challenges and explain our methodology and data requirements.
-
Serve as the technical subject matter expert during client presentations, demos, and training sessions, explaining load flow methodologies and ElectrifiedGrid’s capabilities.
-
Gather detailed feedback on load flow accuracy, system performance, and usability from client interactions and field implementations.
-
Technical Validation & Calibration
-
Calibrate and validate the ElectrifiedGrid flow tool against real-world distribution network data during implementation, ensuring accuracy and reliability across diverse utility configurations.
-
Conduct rigorous testing of load flow calculations, identifying and resolving discrepancies between modeled and actual system behavior.
-
Develop and maintain deep expertise in electrical engineering principles specific to distribution systems, including network topology, impedance calculations, and voltage regulation.
-
Document technical specifications, validation methodologies, and calibration procedures to establish best practices and quality standards.
-
Product Enhancement & Commercialization
-
Support the sales and customer success teams with technical due diligence, create RFP responses, and implementation planning for complex deals.
-
Prepare technical documentation and case studies that demonstrate ElectrifiedGrid’s load flow capabilities and real-world applications.
-
Collaborate with the product team to identify opportunities for improving load flow algorithms, configuration options, and user interfaces based on client feedback.
-
Knowledge Sharing & Team Development
-
Mentor junior engineers and technical staff on load flow principles, distribution system design, and best practices in grid modeling.
-
Contribute to internal knowledge repositories and training materials to build organizational expertise in power systems engineering.
