Store Manager in Training

We are currently looking for a friendly, energetic, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Store Manager in Training.
This role is designed for an experienced retail professional who is passionate about developing their leadership skills and progressing into a Store Manager position. The successful candidate will take on leadership responsibilities, including team development, sales performance management, customer experience excellence, and supporting daily store operations.

Wage range of $24.00 to $36.92 per hour, based on qualifications, previous retail leadership experience, and demonstrated ability to meet the requirements of the position. Additional compensation opportunities may be available through company performance programs.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.
A university degree or college diploma in business administration, retail management, or a related field may be considered an asset and may be required depending on the complexity and scope of store operations.
Several years of progressive retail sales experience with increasing levels of responsibility are required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of retail sales experience, including experience in a supervisory, assistant management, or leadership capacity.
Candidates must demonstrate career progression through roles of increasing responsibility, such as Sales Associate, Senior Sales Associate, Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and/or Store Manager.
Jewellery, luxury retail, or specialty retail sales experience is considered an asset.
Strong understanding of retail operations, sales strategies, customer service excellence, and achieving business objectives.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to review business data, identify opportunities, and make objective decisions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and lead daily store operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Coach, mentor, and develop Brand Ambassadors to achieve individual and store sales objectives.
Deliver exceptional customer experiences while representing the Paris Jewellers brand.
Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to support employee success and succession planning.
Analyze sales reports, business metrics, and performance results to identify opportunities and improve store performance.
Support scheduling and labour planning to ensure the store is appropriately staffed.
Assist with inventory management, merchandising standards, and operational requirements.
Support loss prevention initiatives and ensure accountability for high-value inventory and company assets.
Help create a positive, results-driven, and customer-focused store environment.
