LJB Canada, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Mid-level Quality Coordinator role in Calgary, AB. The ideal candidate will have 5-9 years of experience in a related project quality role in a construction environment and possess the professional and interpersonal skills to make a positive impact on our firm and the clients we serve. We are looking for a motivated professional with a forward-thinking mindset, strong analytical problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit.
Annual Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

MID-LEVEL QUALITY COORDINATOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Monitor Contractors' compliance with the approved Quality Management System (QMS) and

Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) through routine surveillance and documentation reviews.

Review and track Nonconformity Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Reports (CARs), assisting with the identification, documentation, and follow-up of quality issues to support timely resolution.

Participate in the planning and execution of quality audits of Contractors' and subcontractors' work to verify compliance with project quality requirements and contractual obligations.

Coordinate with Contractors, project team members, and internal stakeholders to communicate quality requirements, resolve routine quality issues, and support consistent implementation of project quality standards.

Review Contractor-submitted Quality Plans, ITPs, NCRs, and other quality documentation for completeness and compliance with project requirements, escalating concerns as appropriate.

Maintain effective working relationships with project teams to identify quality concerns, support risk mitigation efforts, and contribute to successful project delivery.

MID-LEVEL QUALITY COORDINATOR ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:
Required Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in construction, engineering or technician and significant quality control and assurance experience or an equivalent combination of experience and technical training.

5-9 years of experience in a related project quality role in a construction environment.

Working knowledge of construction standards specifications in Alberta.

Able to negotiate matters related to quality and convey your point(s) clearly and precisely.
