We have an immediate opportunity at DORA Construction Ltd for a Human Resources Coordinator
Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Coordinator supports the day-to-day delivery of Human Resources by coordinating recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance and administrative functions. The role partners with Operations to support workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding
Coordinating recruitment, job postings, candidate screening, background checks, offers, onboarding, and orientation.
Track employee onboarding in internal system.
Attend career fairs as required.
Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews for field staff.
Create onboarding plans for new employees, coordinate new employee supplies with IT
HR Administration & Employee Relations
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Prepare employment-related correspondence, support employee engagement, and respond to employee inquires as required.
Assist with coordinating company events, volunteer programs and social committee activities.
Operations, Payroll and Benefits support
Support weekly payroll processing and resource planning as required
Coordinate travel, accommodations, new employee trainings sessions.
Liaise with Operations Leadership for recruitment needs and communicate updates between field staff and Human Resources.
Industry & Community Relations
Build partnerships with industry organizations, educational institutes, and employment agencies.
Qualifications
Previous experience in Human Resources or workforce management, preferably in a construction environment.
Degree in Human Resources and/or Business preferred.
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Salary

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
