MG Power Associates Inc. is a high voltage service provider focused primarily on the installation and servicing of power transformer and other substations equipment throughout Canada. Our focus is on high quality service with a personal customer focus approach. With our fleet of specialty transformer service equipment, we mobilize coast-to-coast.
The Sales Associate is responsible for growing and maintaining all sales activities for the company’s high-voltage service offerings while identifying opportunities for add-on services and products as new revenue streams. This role involves hands-on business development focusing on sales to renewable and non-renewable energy providers; utilities, power generators, and large industrial facilities.
The Sales Associate drives revenue growth, builds long-term customer relationships, and aligns sales efforts with operational capabilities.
Key Roles:
· Identify and pursue new clients, market opportunities, and strategic accounts
· Develop new revenue streams through the supply of other substation services and products.
· Build relationships with utilities, power generators, and industrial clients.
· Occasionally represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
· Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention through proactive engagement.
· Utilize the CRM tool to track information on contacts, accounts and opportunities and to produce internal reports.
· Coordinate with operations to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations.
· Collaborate with clients to produce statements of work, estimates and quotations
· Collaborate with operations to schedule and deliver jobs.
· Provide regular sales reports and performance metrics to leadership team.
· Travel to meetings with prospects and clients across Canada
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred) or years of experience that has provided strong knowledge and experience in the industry.
- Sales experience in the high-voltage industry with knowledge of power transformers and other substation components.
- Demonstrated success in strategic selling, key account management, and long sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Pay: $50,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
