Do you love meeting new people, being the center of the fun, and creating unforgettable experiences?
The Rolling Barrel is hiring outgoing, energetic Party Hosts / Tour Guides to lead our pedal-powered pub crawl tours around downtown Victoria.
This is not a desk job and it’s not for shy personalities. You’ll be welcoming groups, setting the vibe, coordinating stops, playing music, and helping guests have an amazing time while exploring Victoria’s pub scene.
If you enjoy hospitality, events, nightlife, tourism, or performance-based work, this could be the perfect fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcoming and checking guests in before tours
- Leading groups on pedal-powered pub crawl experiences
- Keeping the group organized and on schedule
- Coordinating with our partner pubs and venues
- Playing music and keeping the energy high
- Taking group photos and helping guests capture great memories
- Ensuring guests have a safe and fun experience

Previous hospitality, tour guide, event hosting, theatre, or customer service experience is a bonus — but personality and reliability matter most.
Requirements
- Must be 19+ years old
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must have a smartphone for communication and scheduling
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Weekend availability is strongly preferred
Schedule
This is a casual, part-time, seasonal role.
Most shifts are approximately 3 hours total, including prep, the tour, and wrap-up.
Weekend availability is the primary need, with some weekday opportunities as the season builds.
Pay & Perks
- $20–$24 per hour starting wage
- 100% of tips go directly to the host
- Tips often range $40–$100+ per tour

Training Ride-Along
Selected candidates will be invited to join a training tour ride-along to see how the experience works before leading groups themselves.
