Position Overview
This position plays a critical role in supporting our service technicians by maintaining inventory levels, coordinating equipment and parts availability, managing warehouse organization, and ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and operational.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while supporting a fast-paced service operation.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Parts Management
- Source, order, and track parts, materials, and equipment from approved suppliers, including promotional items
- Maintain appropriate inventory and stock levels to support daily operations
- Monitor inventory usage and replenish stock as required
- Receive, inspect, verify, and properly store incoming shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records using company software and mobile technology
- Conduct quarterly inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation
- Identify inventory shortages, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
Warehouse Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
- Ensure materials, tools, equipment, and inventory are properly stored and easily accessible
- Prepare equipment, materials, and parts for technician pickups and scheduled jobs
- Manage technician pickup windows and ensure equipment and materials are ready each morning
- Coordinate order fulfillment and material staging for service technicians
- Assist with equipment decommissioning and material processing
- Ensure proper disposal, recycling, and discard of equipment and materials in accordance with company procedures
Facility Maintenance & Organization
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all warehouse workspaces
- Ensure high-traffic areas, including driveways, loading areas, entrances, and back-office areas, remain clean, organized, and free of debris
- Monitor warehouse conditions and identify maintenance or safety concerns
- Support a safe, professional, and welcoming work environment
Logistics & Fleet Support
- Deliver parts, equipment, and materials to job sites as required
- Perform parts drop-offs and support field technicians when needed
- Load, unload, move, and transport equipment safely
- Operate a 5-ton HINO box truck when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles, spare fleet vehicles, and assigned vehicles
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
Community Involvement
- Delivery, set up and take down of home show events
- Delivery and or pickup of Misting trailers to community events as needed
- Set up and participation in summer and winter parades
- Maintaining stock of swag for community events
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Perform quality control inspections on incoming and outgoing materials
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of materials and equipment
- Report safety concerns, damaged inventory, or operational issues promptly
Team Support
- Act as a key support resource for technicians and operations staff
- Assist in improving warehouse processes and operational efficiency
- Support the overall flow of work by ensuring technicians have the tools, equipment, and materials needed to perform their jobs successfully
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to be bonded
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces when required
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to learn and use technology, including inventory systems, mobile devices, and service software
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred
- Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, or purchasing experience
- Experience ordering parts and managing supplier relationships
- Forklift certification or operating experience
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools or equipment
- Experience supporting field service operations

Pay: $41,600.00-$62,400.00 per year
