About the opportunity
cam|industrial is looking for skilled and experienced laborers to work on the precise positioning of concrete formwork and rail systems for the installation of a Mobile Storage system in Victoria.
The project started in August and is expected to last 11 months. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high profile and unique project.
Qualifications
A clean drug and alcohol screen ongoing through employment
A valid driver’s license
A commitment to working safely
No criminal record
Current certifications, such as WHMIS, CSTS and OSSA Regional Orientation or Basic Safety Orientation (BSO), Telehandler, Forklift, Confined Space, and 1st Aid Level C are an asset, but we will provide training for the right candidate
Construction experience is an asset
Millwright and Carpenter experience is an asset
Ability to read blueprints
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of a mobile storage system
- Attend and complete scheduled training courses
- Manage company assets, including tool and parts inventory, and vehicles according to policy
- Load or unload materials, stock or pile materials in a designated area
- Keep work area clean and tidy
- Assist and work with the design, engineering, project management, and sales teams
- A commitment to work safety and in accordance with OH&S, the company’s safety policy, procedures and safe work practices, the installation lead’s or supervisor’s instructions
- Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks and JHA’s
- Complete applicable safety and job related paperwork
- Operate various equipment (forklifts, telehandlers…)
- Operate various power tools specific to the joA commitment to wor
Relevant education, certifications, and tickets
