Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coating to various metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes.
Duties
- Prepare metal parts for coating by cleaning, masking, and surface preparation
- Operate powder coating equipment with precision to ensure even application
- Manage material handling using forklifts to move parts safely within the facility
- Perform quality inspections on coated products to meet specifications
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment following safety protocols
- Assist in setup and calibration of machinery
Qualifications
- Prior experience in powder coating or related finishing processes is required
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with powder coating equipment, hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with forklift driving and material handling equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and quality checks
- Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and follow safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
