Novatech Electric Ltd. is hiring Journeyperson Electricians and Electrical Apprentices for upcoming commercial projects throughout Atlantic Canada.
This position is ideal for someone with an electrical background who is comfortable working out of town. The immediate work is primarily commercial automation-related, but training is provided and previous automation experience is not required.
Novatech is not limited to automation work. We also complete a wide range of local electrical work, including commercial projects, service work, residential electrical, and general electrical installations throughout Nova Scotia.
Wages start at $56/hr, with per diems included, accommodations provided, company vehicle, dental benefits, RRSP plan, and basic hand tools provided.

Job Duties
- Commercial automation-related electrical work
- Installing and wiring control devices and equipment
- Running low-voltage and control cabling
- Terminating control wiring
- Mounting sensors, devices, panels, and related equipment
- Following drawings, layouts, and site instructions
- Testing, troubleshooting, and verifying installations
- Coordinating with site supervisors and other trades
- Keeping work clean, organized, and professional
- Assisting with other electrical work as required
Requirements
- Electrical background required
- Journeyperson Electrician or Electrical Apprentice
- Commercial experience considered an asset
- Automation experience considered an asset, but not required
- Must be willing to work out of town
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be reliable, professional, and able to work independently
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
