Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Responsibilities
-
Generate pick lists based on production schedules and stage required materials for production and kitting while promptly reporting shortages or expired items to the supply chain planner
-
Pick and pull materials for production requirements.

Work in cooler environments as required.

Verify materials against pick lists by matching item numbers and expiration dates.

Return unused materials to the correct warehouse location after production, ensuring compliance with GMP standards (proper storage location)

Accurately scale, scan, and return items to proper bin locations using RF scanners.

Coordinate with the kitting team to stage materials, clear kits, and communicate shortages or upcoming production needs.

Ensure all staged materials are properly labelled, organized, and rotated according to FIFO procedures.

Optimize warehouse space through effective organization and proactive inventory management.
-
Assist with put-away activities using Bin-to-Bin transactions.
-
Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy (can work with the supply chain planner to set a count schedule).

Handle damaged or non-conforming materials according to company procedures, including segregation and cleaning.

Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.

Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.

Other duties as assigned.
Profile
-
High school diploma is required
-
Valid forklift license is required, with 2+ years experience operating a forklift preferred
-
Prior experience in plant, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is preferred

Excellent spatial awareness and organization skills with high level of attention to detail

Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel in particular)

Ability to work in a fast environment, multitask and time manage efficiently

Good verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
