The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a top‑tier hospitality leader who thrives in fast‑paced, guest‑focused environments and wants real ownership over culture, service excellence, and operational success.
As Assistant FOH Manager, you are the face of the taproom, the coach of the team, and a key contributor to the brewery’s growth and reputation. You will lead with presence, purpose, and professionalism—setting the tone for every guest interaction.
You will report to the FOH Manager and collaborate closely with the Brew Team and Events leadership.

What Success Looks Like in This Role
· Lead the Charge: Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
· Inspire your Team: Train and mentor the front-of-house team, creating a positive and collaborative culture.
· Champion the Guest Experience: Interact with guests, resolve concerns, and ensure everyone feels at home and is well cared for.
· Be Aware and Prepared: Ensure compliance with Northern Health regulations and BC Liquor Laws while keeping up with industry trends.
· Encourage Building of Sales: Focus on retail and merchandise sales while striving to meet targets.
· Collaborate with Brew Crew and Events: Work closely with our brewing team and events coordinator to stay on top of beer offerings, specials, and successful run of events.
· Be a Community Builder: Represent Sherwood Mountain Brewhouse as an ambassador for our strong sense of community both inside and outside.

What Makes you the Perfect Fit
You are looking for a new opportunity to help make an impact in our community – and bring success to the brewery. This is what we are looking for:
· 2+ years of restaurant and/or brewery experience, including 1+ year in a leadership/management role.
· A natural leader with a passion for people and hospitality.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task priorities in a fast-paced environment with exceptional attention to detail.
· Extensive knowledge of BC Liquor Laws and Northern Health regulations.
· An enthusiastic, positive attitude that inspires those around you.
· Up to date Serving it Right and WHMIS certificate (preferred)
· Experience and knowledge of the full Microsoft Office Suite programs and Square POS is a plus.
· You are organized and your schedule is flexible - you are happily available on weekends, late evenings, and some holidays.
· A love for craft beer, working in a team environment, and building community connections.
