Our company, located in Surrey, is seeking a dedicated and hard-working Fabricator to join our team and contribute to the efficiency of our warehouse's production line. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to maintaining a smooth manufacturing process. Your primary duties will include operating and maintaining machinery, identifying potential malfunctions or risks, and ensuring the production area is clean and organized. We are a small, nimble team, and your position will also require you to help as needed around the warehouse, particularly in busy times.
As a Fabricator, you will also be involved in transferring products and equipment, and utilizing power tools and forklift trucks as needed. It is crucial to adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. This position requires physical stamina, as you will be lifting heavy loads regularly.

Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment efficiently to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
- Maintain and perform routine checks on warehouse machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Assemble machinery parts accurately, adhering to specifications and quality standards.
- Store products and materials systematically to facilitate easy access and inventory management.
- Meet individual production task deadlines throughout the shift to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Report any defective products or machinery issues promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
- Monitor stock levels and report deficiencies in products or raw materials to ensure continuous production.
- Keep the worksite clean and organized to prevent hazards associated with chemicals and fragile products.
- Review and adhere to manufacturing manuals to ensure proper assembly and operation of machinery.
- Ensure timely shipping procedures are followed to meet delivery schedules.
- Transfer equipment safely, utilizing manual handling techniques or forklift trucks as necessary.
- Follow the company's safety and quality guidelines to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements and skill
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience as a fabricator or production worker or in a similar role within a factory or warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Good understanding of the structure and function of production equipment.
- Ability to monitor factory equipment and identify potential problems or malfunctions.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary for troubleshooting production issues.
- Pay close attention to detail and exhibits a strong commitment to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Familiarity with basic safety rules and precautionary measures; safety gear will be provided.
- Ability to work cautiously but efficiently in potentially hazardous conditions.
- Demonstrates physical strength and stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy loads for extended periods.
- Possesses physical dexterity necessary for assembling small and delicate product parts.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic math skills to assist with production tasks.
- Must be available for shift work, including overtime and weekends.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
