About Glamping Aboiteau
Glamping Aboiteau is a unique coastal glamping resort dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences in a beautiful natural setting. We are seeking a versatile, hands-on Retreat Manager who enjoys wearing many hats and helping all aspects of the business run smoothly.
Position Overview
The Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring outstanding guest service while supporting administrative and property management functions. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable handling a wide variety of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services & Reservations
- Manage reservations and booking systems.
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Coordinate guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience from booking through departure.
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally.
Staff Scheduling & Operations
- Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance schedules.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- Ensure operational procedures are followed consistently.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
Property Oversight & Light Maintenance
- Conduct routine property inspections.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers.
- Ensure facilities, grounds, and accommodations remain clean, safe, and guest-ready.
Marketing & Business Support
- Monitor online reviews and guest feedback.
- Assist with social media updates and promotional initiatives.
- Support special events and seasonal activities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, property management, or business administration.
- Fluently bilingual (English and French)
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable using reservation software, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based business tools.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
- Basic maintenance or handyman skills are considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
