Job Summary

Likemind Trading is a growing retail company based in Kelowna, BC, operating a collection of specialty retail brands including ONE Boardshop, Premium Label Outlet, Foursight Supply Co., and Rip Curl Kelowna.

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team and support the day-to-day execution of marketing across our retail brands. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating content, coordinating campaigns, working across multiple brands, and keeping projects moving from idea to execution.

Working closely with our Marketing Manager, you’ll help bring campaigns to life across social media, email, in-store marketing, digital signage, and other marketing channels.

What You'll Do

Work with the Marketing Manager to execute campaigns consistently, on schedule, and in alignment with brand standards
Maintain brand-specific marketing and content calendars, coordinating campaign timelines, deliverables, and day-to-day execution across multiple brands and locations
Create and schedule social media content, including Reels, photos, stories, and other platform-specific content
Design, build, schedule, and distribute email marketing campaigns, including managing email lists and databases
Create and adapt graphic assets for social media, email, in-store signage, digital displays, and other marketing materials
Write captions and promotional copy for social media, email, and other marketing materials
Capture and edit photo and video content for social media and other marketing channels
Monitor and respond to social media messages, online reviews, and customer service inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner
Identify opportunities for fresh, relevant content and marketing initiatives, and provide recommendations to the Marketing Manager
Support basic website, e-commerce, and digital marketing updates as needed
Compile monthly social media and email performance metrics, identify notable trends and campaign performance, and provide reporting to the Marketing Manager
Take ownership of assigned projects, making day-to-day decisions within established brand guidelines and seeking direction when needed
Help develop and maintain email automations as systems and capacity allow
Take on other marketing projects as needed

What We're Looking For

Content & Creative
1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, content creation, or a related field
Experience with Instagram, Facebook, and Meta Business Suite
Strong understanding of social media platforms and current content trends
Comfortable creating and editing short-form video content
Experience writing copy for social media, email, and promotional materials
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Confident working within established brand guidelines and visual standards
Strong written communication skills and an eye for detail
Marketing Operations
Experience with email marketing platforms and basic email list/database management
Highly organized, reliable, and able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
Able to work independently while also taking direction and collaborating with a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly
Basic experience with marketing analytics and reporting (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, or similar)

Assets

Experience with Shopify or another e-commerce platform
Familiarity with paid digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads or Meta Ads
Experience with photography and videography
A genuine interest in retail, fashion, action sports, lifestyle brands, or consumer marketing
Portfolio pieces or samples of previous work

The Right Person

You don't need to know everything coming into this role. We're looking for someone who is creative, organized, curious, and willing to get their hands dirty.

You might be capturing content in the morning, building an email campaign in the afternoon, and creating promotional assets for an upcoming store campaign before the end of the day.

You'll work closely with our Marketing Manager, who will provide overall direction and strategy while giving you plenty of ownership over the day-to-day execution. We're looking for someone who is comfortable asking questions, receptive to feedback, and eager to learn while developing their skills across multiple brands and channels.
