We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our team at our Strathroy, Ontario facility. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in precision, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild carbon plate steel (¼”, ⅜”, ½”) and occasional stainless steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate assembly and welds.
- Operate metal cutting and rolling machines as needed.
- Perform grinding, fitting, and fabrication of steel components.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial welding environment.
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Experience with plate steel fabrication, fitment, and welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Strong understanding of measurements and basic math.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
