SALES COORDINATOR
Job Description:
A sales coordinator handles all incoming orders and communications with wholesale customers, works with and supports the sales reps and marketing team, plans the delivery routes and works closely with the driver(s), as well as working with production in varying capacities (forecasting, sales quantities). The sales coordinator will work at a provided computer, simultaneously communicating in person, online, or on the telephone with customers and coworkers regarding inventory, order processing, delivery schedule and accounts receivable information.
The individual to enter this 1 year contract position should have knowledge of customer service, clerical applications, and have some sales and marketing experience. The environment is fast-paced and high-energy, and our sales coordinator must be comfortable juggling a multitude of tasks at the same time with attention to detail.
Expectations: To have fun and to take initiative in this role by assisting in the development of processes to increase sales team effectiveness and efficiency.
Reports to: Marc Roberts - Director of Sales
Works closely with: Director of Sales, Sales Rep(s), Delivery Driver(s), Head Brewer, Tasting Room Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday
Pay:
- $46,000 to $52,000 a year depending on experience
- 2 weeks paid vacation

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Inventory, Sales and Marketing Responsibilities:
· Coordination of product entry on all systems (Current: Container World, Toast, EKOS, & Quickbooks)
· Work with Tasting Room Manager and Head Brewer to determine sales availability for keg rentals
· Management of inventory to ensure we have enough product to last the brew cycle and raising it if we have leftover product or will run out
· Create sales and marketing materials for new beers
· Follow up with customers if we are unable to fulfill their order
· Create and maintain communication with accounts and sales team
· Contacting accounts to verify pre-orders
· Working with current and potential out of town accounts
· Work with the marketing team to provide information to help guide their efforts
· Assist Marketing Team with the creation of a bi-weekly MailChimp newsletter as well as updating the “Where to Buy” Listings on the website
· Apply for Shelf Talker applications with the BCL
· Organize sell sheets for sales team
· Assist in Beer Festival Event beer allocation
· Managing Sprinter van maintenance
· Product sku, price changes, and LTO applications
· LDB sales reporting
Order Processing, Reports, and more:
- Respond to customer requests in a timely and friendly manner
- Inventory checks to make sure requested product is available in warehouse to deliver from either Backcountry Brewing or Container World
- Prepares and collects new customer application forms
- Verify customer information is correct and up-to-date
- Create invoice through Container World or EKOS
- Checks customer account for credit and outstanding payments prior to order entry
- Inform customer of shipping date and any possible delays
- Reviews orders for accuracy and completion
- Manages pre-order sales with inventory management and MailChimp emails
- Keep track of core and limited release sell through, tracking of monthly sales, and weekly limited release inventory updates
Payment Processing:
- Contact overdue accounts directly for updated payment information if required
- Creates customer folders and files invoice copies of all orders delivered and processed for payment
