Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking Class 1 Dump Truck Drivers with trailer experience. Previous Dump Truck experience is a must, Class 1 License is a must. You will be part of a rapidly growing group with room to grow within the company.
The Class 1 Dump Truck Driver will operate commercial trucks and trailers to transport materials to and from specified job site destinations, gravel pits, dumpsites, and other pick up/drop off locations. Consistent and reliable communication with the General Superintendent, Operations Team is expected.
All Truck Driver's must be in compliance with company guidelines and procedures, which may be introduced or amended from time to time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Practice safety in your every move, be fully aware of your surroundings, do your part to minimize hazards and report any injuries or damage to your supervisor immediately.
- Complete all required transport paperwork in a thorough and complete manner each day, including maintaining any required trailer and vehicle records.
- Transport construction materials and equipment to and from project sites, or other locations as determined by the General Superintendent.
- Perform routine maintenance and bring any operational or safety concerns forward to the General Superintendent.
- Complete industry, project and/or safety specific training, as requested.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain valid commercial licensing as required to fulfill the duties of the role.
Skills & Attributes:
- Extensive knowledge of commercial vehicle and trailer operation and capabilities.
- Knowledge of vehicle inspection and basic maintenance including monitoring tire pressure and tire treads, emergency tire change/repairs, monitoring of fluid levels, etc.
- Excellent mechanical skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to perform well without supervision.
- Strong understanding and respect for safety guidelines and protocol.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Strong knowledge and dedication to safe driving practises at all times.
- Able to work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Must be able to operate commercial trucks in all weather conditions and terrains.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds at a time.
Experience & Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Class 1 Driver with trailer experience.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
