What you will do
As a Forest Technician you will be involved in a variety of projects throughout the region. On any given day you could be involved in:
- Forest management
- Timber reconnaissance
- Cutblock engineering
- Silviculture surveys
- Riparian classification and management
- Timber cruising
- Cultural heritage feature identification
- Ecological assessments
- Forest road engineering
- Waste and residue
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of previous forestry experience.
- Physically fit and a passion for working outdoors.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
