MDS Coating is looking to add a determined, detail-oriented person to our growing team of Logistics Coordinator!

At MDS Coating, as a Logistics Coordinator, you can expect to:
- Receive and ship: You will be trained to manage incoming and outgoing shipments, supplies and customers’ inventory in accordance with MDS Quality Compliance.
- Practice Safety: Follow all safety, PPE and waste handling requirements
- Adhere to Instructions: Execute tasks according to written work instructions. Update computer files and records.
- Document and Report: Maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory, shipping and receiving.
- Collaborate: Work with various teams to assist in the coordination and preparation of inventory for processing, as well as troubleshoot issues, identify solutions,
- Innovate: Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies. Identify inefficiencies and work within MDS Coatings’ culture of Continuous Improvement to make impactful change

What we are looking for:
- General knowledge of customs documents and requirements, as well as courier software preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience with pallet wrapping equipment, pallet jack, walkie stacker and forklift
- Strong attention to detail and passion for maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a keen ability to connect, communicate, and resolve issues
- Experience in a quality assurance regulated environment is an asset
- Ability to use Microsoft suite of products and a demonstrated ability to learn to use new computer software
- The ability to effectively communicate and write in English is required
- Must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for Controlled Goods
