We Build Reliability
Located near Victoria, British Columbia on Vancouver Island, Nicholson Manufacturing Ltd. is a global leader in the design, manufacture and service of ring debarking and log handling equipment for the forestry industry. That’s a long way of saying: we build machines that work hard, last a long time, and don’t quit when the job gets tough, kind of like the people who build them.
But let’s talk about why you might want to work here. You’ll be part of a solid team that takes pride in what they build and actually enjoys working together. Our shop is equipped with modern, innovative technology, so you’re not stuck doing the same thing on repeat, and you’ll keep learning as you go.
Getting here isn’t bad either, a scenic, smooth drive that definitely beats bumper-to-bumper traffic. Once you arrive, there’s plenty of parking (no daily scavenger hunt), regular company events that people actually look forward to, and yes, a warm, indoor work environment when the West Coast weather decides to do its thing.
Our equipment is used in wood processing facilities around the world, and behind every piece is a team that cares about doing things right (and maybe cracking a joke or two along the way). If that sounds like your kind of place, you’ll fit in well here.
