Looking for an opportunity where you can help shape the future of a growing business rather than simply report on it?
We are partnering with an innovative and rapidly growing consumer products company seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance team. This newly created role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership while supporting strategic planning, operational decision-making, pricing, forecasting, manufacturing performance, and business growth initiatives.
This is more than a traditional FP&A role. You'll act as a key business partner across Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales, helping leadership make better decisions through data, analysis, and financial insight. Why This Opportunity Stands Out As the organization continues to expand across Canada and the United States, this role has been created to help build the analytical foundation required to support continued growth. You'll have the opportunity to create processes, influence decisions, improve reporting, and contribute directly to the company's success.
For someone who enjoys solving problems, building models, and turning data into actionable business insights, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Develop financial models that support business planning and decision-making
- Build dashboards and reporting tools that improve visibility across the organization
- Partner with Operations and Manufacturing to analyze productivity, capacity, costing, inventory, and operational performance
- Support demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain analytics
- Analyze customer, channel, product, and regional performance
- Support pricing strategies, margin analysis, and profitability initiatives
- Transform complex data into clear recommendations for leadership
- Drive reporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, operations finance, or commercial finance
- Experience within manufacturing, food production, consumer packaged goods, agriculture, or distribution environments is strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Experience building dashboards, reporting tools, and scalable analytical processes
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
- CPA, CFA, or progress toward a professional designation is considered an asset
Who Will Thrive Here
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building rather than maintaining, who is naturally curious, and who wants exposure beyond traditional finance. You'll be joining a collaborative and entrepreneurial organization where initiative is valued, ideas are welcomed, and individuals have the opportunity to make a visible impact on the business.
If you're looking for a role that combines financial planning, operational analytics, business strategy, and growth, we'd love to hear from you.
