Lead Growth. Build Teams. Shape Strategy.
Abco Elevator is seeking an experienced, driven, and strategic Head of Sales to lead the next phase of our growth.
As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing Abco's sales strategy, leading our sales and estimating teams, strengthening customer relationships, and creating the systems, processes, and culture required to achieve ambitious growth targets.
This is more than a sales leadership role. It is an opportunity to help shape the future of a growing organization operating in an innovative and evolving industry. We are looking for a leader who can build a high-performing team, develop and execute a strategic growth plan, strengthen customer relationships, and create the foundation for the next chapter of Abco Elevator's success.
If you are passionate about developing people, driving results, building customer partnerships, and leading high-performing teams, we'd love to hear from you.
About Abco Elevator
Abco Elevator was built differently—on purpose.
With deep roots in the elevator industry and a unique foundation shaped by a people-first mindset, Abco has grown into a company grounded in professionalism, service excellence, innovation, and doing right by people.
Today, Abco is a recognized leader in Saskatchewan's elevator construction, modernization, maintenance, and repair industry, with a growing presence throughout Alberta and Manitoba. Our reputation has been built through exceptional customer service, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering safe and reliable solutions for our clients.
At our core, we believe in:
Working together to provide a safe and exceptional experience.
That commitment extends to our customers, our partners, and the people who make up our team.
The Opportunity
As Head of Sales, you will serve as the voice of the customer and the market within our organization. You will work closely with the leadership team to establish strategic priorities, drive revenue growth, develop a high-performing sales culture, and position Abco Elevator for continued success throughout Western Canada.
This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution, developing people, building strong customer relationships, and creating the systems and structure necessary to support long-term growth.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Sales Leadership & Growth Strategy
You will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy designed to support Abco's growth objectives. Working closely with the leadership team, you will establish annual sales targets, identify new market opportunities, and create actionable plans that drive revenue growth while maintaining the customer-first approach that has become synonymous with the Abco brand.
You will be accountable for sales performance, forecasting, pipeline development, and ensuring the team remains focused on the activities that generate sustainable business results.
Team Leadership & Development
A key component of this role is building and developing a high-performing sales culture.
You will provide leadership, coaching, mentorship, and accountability to both the sales and estimating teams, helping individuals develop their skills while creating alignment around common goals and expectations. You will foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth while ensuring team members have the tools, support, and direction required to succeed.
Customer Relationships & Market Development
You will serve as a senior ambassador for Abco Elevator, developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, property managers, and other key stakeholders throughout the market.
By understanding customer needs, industry trends, and emerging opportunities, you will help position Abco as the preferred partner for elevator solutions across the Prairie Provinces.
Marketing & Business Development
You will oversee and execute marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility and generate high-quality leads, while continuously analyzing market trends to identify new opportunities for growth. By staying closely connected to the market and customer needs, you will proactively adapt strategies, ensuring Abco remains competitive, relevant, and positioned for long-term success.
Operational Alignment & Business Performance
Working closely with operations, project management, and finance, you will ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution. You will support accurate forecasting, effective resource planning, and strong communication between departments to ensure exceptional customer outcomes and organizational efficiency.
You will also take ownership of the CRM platform, sales pipeline, forecasting processes, and sales performance metrics to ensure the organization has the visibility and data required to make informed business decisions.
Strategic Leadership
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will actively contribute to organizational planning and decision-making. You will bring forward market insights, customer feedback, and growth opportunities that help shape Abco's future direction while supporting company-wide initiatives and objectives.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out
The elevator and vertical transportation industry is evolving rapidly, creating exciting opportunities for organizations that are willing to innovate, invest in technology, and put customers first.
As Abco Elevator continues to expand its presence across Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba, this role offers the opportunity to help shape that growth. You'll be joining an industry that combines construction, technology, modernization, and ongoing service relationships—creating a unique environment where strong sales leadership can have a lasting impact on both customers and business performance.
Unlike many sales leadership positions, this role offers the opportunity to build upon a strong reputation in the marketplace while helping define the next stage of growth for the organization.
Performance-Based Rewards
At Abco, we believe exceptional performance should be recognized and rewarded.
In addition to a competitive base salary, this role participates in a performance-based incentive program designed to reward the achievement of sales objectives, revenue growth, team performance, and strategic business outcomes.
For the right leader, this creates an opportunity to directly influence their overall compensation while helping the organization achieve its ambitious growth goals.
We're looking for someone who is motivated by results, energized by growth, and excited by the opportunity to build a high-performing team. As the organization succeeds, we want our leaders to share in that success.
