The Role
Wellwise is looking for an experienced and results-driven Regional Manager to lead multiple retail locations within an assigned region.
Reporting to the National Manager, the Regional Manager is responsible for the overall performance, profitability, operational execution, customer experience, and leadership effectiveness of their assigned stores.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for ensuring our stores have strong Store Managers and teams in place, consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience, achieve financial and operational objectives, and effectively execute company initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on retail leader who is comfortable balancing people leadership, P&L accountability, operational excellence, customer experience, inventory management, and community engagement.
What You'll Do
Leadership & Talent Development
- Recruit, coach, develop, and retain high-performing Store Managers and store teams.
- Ensure each location has the appropriate leadership and staffing structure to support the business.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance discussions with Store Managers.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to strengthen leadership capability.
- Hold Store Managers accountable for performance, execution, and results.
- Support succession planning and identify future leaders across the region.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Business Performance & P&L
- Drive regional sales, profitability, labour performance, and overall P&L results.
- Analyze sales trends, KPIs, labour metrics, inventory performance, and customer results.
- Partner with Store Managers to identify performance opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and execute regional business plans to improve financial and operational performance.
- Monitor progress against established targets and ensure accountability for results.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and operational standards across all locations.
- Conduct regular store visits, operational reviews, and audits.
- Drive consistency in customer experience, merchandising, inventory management, staffing practices, and store execution.
- Support the implementation of new programs, operational changes, and company initiatives.
- Identify operational gaps and develop action plans to improve performance.
Performance Management & Accountability
- Facilitate structured meetings with Store Managers to review sales, labour, people, customer experience, inventory, and operational performance.
- Develop clear action plans with defined responsibilities and timelines.
- Follow up regularly on commitments and progress.
- Identify recurring performance concerns and partner with appropriate teams to implement corrective actions.
- Build a culture where commitments are tracked, reviewed, and delivered.
Community Outreach & Business Development
- Support Store Managers in developing annual community outreach and local market engagement plans.
- Drive initiatives that increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, referral partnerships, and local sales.
- Ensure stores actively develop relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, retirement residences, hospitals, and other referral partners.
- Monitor the effectiveness of outreach activities, including leads, partnerships, customer acquisition, events, and sales impact.
- Share successful community engagement strategies and best practices across the region.
- Partner with Marketing, Operations, and senior leadership to ensure local initiatives align with Wellwise's overall growth strategy.
Inventory & Merchandising
- Ensure stores maintain appropriate inventory levels and follow established inventory controls.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, shrink, stock availability, inventory turns, and replenishment.
- Support Store Managers in aligning inventory with customer needs, local market opportunities, demographics, seasonal trends, and sales performance.
- Balance inventory investment while minimizing out-of-stocks and excess inventory.
- Ensure inventory counts and replenishment processes are completed accurately and consistently.
Store Environment & Facilities
- Ensure all locations maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, safety, and presentation.
- Monitor store appearance, equipment condition, maintenance, and facility standards.
- Ensure property and maintenance concerns are identified, escalated, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Support Store Managers in minimizing operational disruptions related to facility issues.
Compliance & Operational Discipline
- Ensure stores consistently meet company standards related to Human Resources, Health & Safety, Loss Prevention, Visual Merchandising, Inventory Management, Customer Experience, and operational procedures.
- Ensure stores remain audit-ready and compliant with company policies.
- Oversee scheduling, labour management, timekeeping, leadership coverage, and applicable Dayforce requirements.
- Support effective vacation planning and management coverage.
- Maintain appropriate operational controls related to store access, security, and key management.
What We're Looking For
- Progressive multi-unit retail management experience, ideally as a Regional Manager, District Manager, Area Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing Store Managers and high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of retail P&L management, sales, labour, inventory, and operational KPIs.
- Proven ability to improve underperforming locations and drive accountability.
- Strong coaching, performance management, and talent development capabilities.
- Experience developing and executing regional or multi-location business plans.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear actions.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively partner with cross-functional support teams.
- Strong customer focus and commitment to operational excellence.
- Experience in healthcare, home health, pharmacy, medical devices, or a related retail environment would be considered an asset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving organization.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region and visit stores as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
