We are currently recruiting to replace a reduced full-time permanent:
Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant (up to 28 hours per week)
Through the clinical supervision of an Occupational Therapist and/or a Physiotherapist, the Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant will provide services as appropriate for clients of Pathways Health Centre for Children in Lambton and the surrounding Indigenous communities. Other duties may be assigned as applicable.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
- Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma; or equivalent certificate with experience in both occupational therapy and physiotherapy.
- Fluency in French is an asset
- Experience with Indigenous and diverse communities an asset
- Cultural Competency training is an asset
- Previous Therapy Assistant experience is an asset
- Ability to provide service efficiently and effectively·
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills·
- Superior problem-solving abilities
The successful candidate must have a valid Ontario driver’s license and maintain adequate liability insurance or must have ongoing access to a vehicle and driver for Pathways business. A Vulnerable Sector Police Check (dated within the last 6 months) as well as proof of applicable immunizations are required.
