Sales Representative & LED Lighting Installer
Accent LED Lighting is seeking 1–2 motivated, professional individuals to join our team in a hybrid Sales Representative & LED Lighting Installer role.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, meeting new people, and having the opportunity to earn additional income through sales performance.
You will work alongside our team installing premium architectural and exterior LED lighting systems while also representing Accent LED Lighting in the community, generating leads, meeting potential customers, and closing new projects.
ResponsibilitiesLED Lighting Installation
- Install permanent exterior, architectural, landscape, and specialty LED lighting systems.
- Work safely from ladders, roofs, and other elevated areas.
- Measure, mount, route, connect, and test lighting components.
- Troubleshoot lighting systems and assist with service calls.
- Maintain a clean and professional job site.
- Properly use and care for company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Communicate professionally with customers while working at their property.
- Work effectively as part of an installation team.
Sales & Client Acquisition
- Actively seek out and engage potential residential and commercial customers.
- Generate new leads through networking, referrals, community outreach, and prospecting.
- Meet with potential customers and explain Accent LED Lighting products and services.
- Present lighting options clearly and confidently.
- Build relationships with prospective customers and follow up on leads.
- Assist customers in selecting lighting solutions appropriate for their property.
- Work toward sales targets and contribute to company growth.
- Represent Accent LED Lighting professionally at all times.

- Mechanically inclined with good attention to detail.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Sales experience is an asset but not required.
- Construction, electrical, lighting, roofing, or installation experience is an asset but not required.
- Training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred.
Compensation
This is a hybrid installation and commission sales position.
Installation Work:
Paid compensation for time spent completing installations, service work, training, and other assigned company work.
Sales Commission:
Earn additional commission for projects you personally generate and sell.
Our tiered commission structure rewards representatives who consistently bring in new business:
- Tier 1: 1–3 completed sales — base commission rate
- Tier 2: 4–9 completed sales — increased commission rate
- Tier 3: 10+ completed sales — highest commission rate plus potential performance incentives
There is no set limit on sales commission earnings. The more business you generate, the more you can earn.
This structure gives you the opportunity to earn income through installation work while significantly increasing your earnings through sales.
