Overview
Phantom Holdings Ltd. is seeking a motivated seasonal employee to join our team for the remainder of the 2026 crop production season. We are a modern grain farm near Rosetown, Saskatchewan, growing lentils, durum, and canola using contemporary equipment and crop management practices.
This position is ideal for someone interested in agriculture who would like to gain hands-on experience operating farm equipment, assisting with crop production, maintaining farm facilities, and supporting harvest operations.
The successful candidate will start during the summer months, assisting with greenhouse and garden maintenance, yard upkeep, equipment preparation, and general farm duties before transitioning into a key role supporting harvest operations.
Position Term
Preferred Start Date: July 2026 (flexible)
Expected End Date: October 15, 2026, or upon completion of harvest
Shift and Schedule
- Days
- Weekends as required
- Extended hours during harvest
- Weather-dependent scheduling
Compensation
- $25.00 per hour
- Monthly payroll

Key Responsibilities
- Summer Farm Operations
- Assist with greenhouse production and garden maintenance
- Mowing, trimming, watering, and general yard maintenance
- Shop and farmyard organization
- General farm labour and maintenance tasks
- Equipment Preparation
- Cleaning farm equipment
- Preparing combines, grain trucks, augers, and support equipment for harvest
- Routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Assisting with equipment repairs and troubleshooting
Harvest Operations
- Operate farm equipment following training and demonstrated competency
- Assist with combine operation
- Haul grain from field to storage or delivery locations
- Operate grain handling equipment
- Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues
- Support safe and efficient harvest operations
Learning Opportunities
The employee will gain experience in:

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating farm equipment is preferred but not required
- Interest in agriculture, mechanics, heavy equipment, or related fields
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (Canadian or International) – Required
- Ability to safely learn and operate farm equipment
- Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to perform moderate physical work
- Legally entitled to work in Canada. Must have work permit or permanent residency if not a Canadian citizen.
Language Requirements
- Basic to intermediate English proficiency is required to safely understand instructions, communicate with supervisors, and follow safety procedures.
- Students enrolled in post-secondary programs are also encouraged to apply.
Assets (Not Required)
- Previous farm experience
- Experience operating tractors, combines, grain trucks, or other heavy equipment
- Mechanical aptitude or repair experience
- Class 1A or 3A licence
- Experience towing trailers
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs)
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
- Ability to work in hot, dusty, noisy, and varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely operate machinery following training

- Shared on-farm accommodation is available in a farmhouse located on the property.
- Employees have access to shared kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and living spaces. Accommodation details can be discussed during the hiring process.
- Employees may also commute from their residence if they live within a reasonable distance of the farm.
