We are Integral Flow Equipment (IFE) based in Red Deer and we need your help.
Integral Flow Equipment is an employee-owned manufacturer of high-pressure flowline equipment, whose principals have a long history of manufacturing and use of this equipment. We operate under a customer and quality first philosophy that underpins our daily interactions with our customers and manufacturing partners.
This position is responsible for performing all aspects of shipping, receiving and warehouse organization. You will be the primary focus for all inbound and outbound freight, shipment of goods to our customer via ground, air, and ocean, initial quality control of inbound goods, overall cleanliness, and organization of the warehouse, and, in collaboration with others, will be responsible for inventory control.
Detailed Responsibilities
· Prepare all related documents, weigh bills, packing slips, QA packages and other shipping documentation as required.
· Package goods for transportation ensuring they are safely and securely packaged and labeled to arrive at our customer’s location in the best condition possible
· Load and unload goods from trucks and containers
· Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips or related documents and forward information on discrepancies.
· Unpack, document, label, locate, and route goods to appropriate area.
· Scan and save inbound documents in appropriate folders as required.
· Liaise with Operations to ensure all required documents are prepared properly and sent with the shipment.
· Pick goods accurately for outbound orders
· Complete regular cycle counts; playing active role in annual inventory counts.
· Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse.
· Organize and label inventory as required.
· Work Closely with Purchasing, Document Control, and QC departments to ensure both goods and documentation flow smoothly through IFE’s receiving and quality control processes.
Other duties as assigned.
About You
2+ years’ experience in a similar role, with a clean class 5 driver's license.
· Excellent attention to detail
· Understanding of manufacturing / production environment
· Basic knowledge of pressure equipment & components (valves, fittings, pipe, etc.)
· Experience using overhead cranes and associated rigging.
· Experience operating forklift
· Experience with documentation with regards to shipping and receiving
· Familiar with shipping documents, PO’s, Pack Lists, Manifests, etc.
· General valve knowledge or experience working in an industrial setting.
· Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· General computer literacy with Microsoft Office software
· Ability to easily lift to 50 lbs. and maneuver heavy packages.
· Forklift certification an asset
Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00-17:00
Wages $23-$26 dollars per hour-based upon experience and qualifications
