Warehouse Manager – Prince Albert
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Warehouse Manager who is ready to lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team while overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for providing direction, coaching, and accountability to warehouse staff, while ensuring all receiving, inventory, shipping, and warehouse activities run safely and efficiently. Your focus will be on building a strong team culture, developing employees, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate has a strong background in warehouse operations and, most importantly, a proven ability to lead, coach, and manage teams effectively.

Work Hours:
Typical hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday. Occasional overtime and Saturday scheduling will be required.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the Team: Train, mentor, and support a diverse group of warehouse staff, helping them grow professionally and meet performance expectations.
- Prioritize Safety: Implement and enforce safety standards across the warehouse, conducting regular safety walk-throughs and addressing any risks or incidents.
- Manage Operations: Oversee the full cycle of product receipt, storage, and distribution, ensuring everything is handled according to established procedures and safety protocols.
- Control Inventory: Keep track of stock levels, conduct inventory counts, and ensure everything is in the right place at the right time to meet demand.
- Drive Process Improvements: Identify areas for improvement in warehouse efficiency and implement changes that streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve performance.
- Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on warehouse performance, inventory levels, safety metrics, and any challenges to senior management, with actionable insights for improvement.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and company procedures, particularly around safety, inventory, and documentation.

- Attention to Detail: You have a strong focus on accuracy, particularly when it comes to inventory management and safety compliance.
- Communication: You’re clear and direct, able to work with a variety of teams and keep everyone on the same page.
- Safety Minded: You know the importance of safety and can implement the necessary measures to keep the team safe and compliant.
- You understand the importance of safety and work to champion a safety-driven culture across all operations. You lead by example, ensuring that safety practices are followed and embedded into the daily mindset of every team member. You identify potential risks and work to proactively address them. You are committed to coaching your team to prioritize safety at every step, empowering them to take ownership of their own safety and the safety of those around them.
What is required:
- Minimum grade 12 graduate
- 5 years of relevant warehouse experience
- Strong background in management and leading teams
- Safety mindset
- Basic computer skills required
- Valid drivers license required
- Must be a high energy individual – will be required to be on your feet for most of the day, some heavy lifting will also be necessary
- Experience operating a forklift
