Catholic Family Services Prince Albert (CFSPA) is a community-based organization dedicated to strengthening individuals, families, and communities through compassionate, professional, and responsive services. Through programs such as BRIDGES (Prince Albert Offender Initiative), CFSPA supports individuals facing barriers to employment, social inclusion, and personal well-being.
We are seeking a dynamic, relationship-focused professional to join our team as a Program Coordinator & Community Outreach. This unique position combines program coordination and community engagement, to help advance CFSPA's mission and strengthen our impact throughout the region.
Position Summary
The Program Coordinator & Community Outreach is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the BRIDGES Program while building community awareness, and strengthening partnerships.
The successful candidate will work closely with program participants, employers, community organizations, sponsors, volunteers, and staff to promote positive outcomes for clients, increase organizational visibility, and support the long-term sustainability of CFSPA programs and services.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination and Client Support
- Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the BRIDGES Program under the direction of the Director of Operations.
- Implement individualized action plans that support employment readiness, education, and successful community reintegration.
- Support participants in accessing employment, education, training opportunities, and community resources.
- Maintain accurate case files, documentation, and participant records in accordance with organizational and funding requirements.
- Prepare monthly reports and contribute to program evaluation and outcome measurement activities.
- Ensure program activities align with contractual obligations, funding requirements, and organizational objectives.
Community Outreach and Engagement
- Serve as an ambassador for CFSPA and promote the organization's programs and services throughout the community.
- Attend wellness fairs, community events, conferences, networking opportunities, and public gatherings to increase awareness of CFSPA services.
- Coordinate and deliver presentations to community organizations, schools, businesses, government agencies, and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, service providers, Indigenous organizations, educational institutions, community groups, and government representatives.
- Identify opportunities to expand partnerships, increase referrals, and strengthen community collaboration.
- Participate in community committees, working groups, and collaborative initiatives that align with the organization's mission and strategic priorities.
- Maintain an up-to-date network of community resources and referral partners.
- Support community awareness campaigns and promotional initiatives that highlight organizational impact and client success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Community Development, or a related field; or
- Diploma in Addictions, Human Services, or a related discipline; or
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in community-based services, program coordination, outreach, fundraising, or a related field.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with justice-involved individuals or marginalized populations.
- Experience delivering presentations and facilitating workshops.
- Experience coordinating community events or outreach initiatives.
- Experience with fundraising campaigns, sponsorship development, volunteer coordination, or donor engagement.
- Experience working collaboratively with boards, committees, and community stakeholders.

- Valid Saskatchewan driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Successful Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
